On-Air Experience

As the producer of Rock and Roll Oasis on WRHU 88.7FM, I get the opportunity for many on-air experiences. Every Monday from 7-8pm, I host and operate the Wheatstone Audio Board and Router for an hour show of Rock and Roll Oasis. As producer, I work with slot holders, answer any questions they may have, and consistently update our song inventory. I am experienced with Adobe Audition thanks to my time at WRHU as well as being a TV Production and Broadcasting Intern at WYLN 35 TV News in Hazleton, PA where I was able to do script write ups and even try out a little voice over work myself.

This semester, I stepped in front of the camera more than ever before, sharing my journey through a mix of interviews and on-air features. I was the guest on Twist and Shout, an interview-style game show where I played a series of fun challenges with host Antonio Schoendart while he learned more about my background, creative work, and personal growth.

I was also featured in Producing the Future, a reflective interview series where I spoke about my path to becoming a producer, my experience in live media, and my goals for the future. These opportunities allowed me to connect with new audiences, celebrate how far I’ve come, and step into a new kind of storytelling—one where I got to share my voice, not just shape the story behind the scenes.
