On-Air Experience

As the producer of Rock and Roll Oasis on WRHU 88.7FM, I had the opportunity to gain extensive on-air experience. Every Monday from 7–8 p.m., I hosted and operated the Wheatstone Audio Board and Router for the one-hour show. As producer, I collaborated with slot holders, answered their questions, and regularly updated our song inventory. I became proficient in Adobe Audition through my time at WRHU, my internship at WYLN 35 TV News in Hazleton, PA—where I wrote scripts and explored voice-over work—and my current role at AM970 The Answer on The Joe Piscopo Show, where I edit and distribute podcast content across all platforms.

During my final semester, I stepped in front of the camera more than ever before, sharing my journey through a mix of interviews and on-air features. I appeared as a guest on Twist and Shout, an interview-style game show where I took on a series of fun challenges with host Antonio Schoendart while he learned more about my background, creative work, and personal growth.

I was also featured in Producing the Future, a reflective interview series where I spoke about my path to becoming a producer, my experience in live media, and my goals for the future. These opportunities allowed me to connect with new audiences, celebrate how far I had come, and step into a new kind of storytelling—one where I shared my voice, not just shaped the story behind the scenes.
